Susan Marie Murphy, 70, of Watseka and a long time resident of Woodruff, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. She was born on January 12, 1952 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Jack and Rosaline (Eisler) Crundwell.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Del) Radawitz of Madison, WI, Amy Worthen of Arbor Vitae, WI, and Michael (Elizabeth) Murphy of Buda, TX; three grandchildren, John Wall, Ashlie Flanigan, and Nolan Murphy; three great grandchildren, Kaeson, Michael, and Marcus; four brothers, Tom Crundwell of Lindenhurst, IL, Bob Crundwell of Fox Lake, IL, Buck (Sue) Crundwell of Oak Lawn, IL, and John "Corky" (Helen) Crundwell of Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her "partner in crime", James "Jay" Humbles.
Susan was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Her world revolved around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
The celebration of life for James "Jay" Humbles and Susan Murphy will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Beverly Ridge Funeral Home at 10415 S. Kedzie Avenue Chicago IL 60655
