Sharon R. Gash

Sharon R. Gash, 56, of Ashkum passed away on January 4, 2023 in Aurora. She was born March 5, 1966 in Ft. Sumter, the daughter of Donald and Suzanne (Rice) Childs.

She is survived by her parents, Don and Sue Childs of St. Anne; one daughter, Stacey Blank (Kenny Hertz) of Reddick; one son, Lukes (Karlie) Gash of Chebanse; four grandchildren, Reegan, Raelynn and Rexton Blank and Chase Hertz; one sister, Donna (Tim) Rattin of Beaverville; one brother, Paul (Jennifer) Childs of Flanagan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a server at various establishments throughout the years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, going to the Kankakee Speedway, and sports.

A memorial visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. memorial service on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Burial will be held at a later date at Kankakee Memorial Gardens.
