Sandra "Sandy" Lowe

Sandra "Sandy" Elaine Lowe, 72, of Watseka passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee.
She was born January 31, 1950 in Hoopeston, the daughter of Parley and Pearl (Jackson) Lowe. They preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Taylor and two brothers, Jerry and Jack Lowe.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Marilyn (Jack) Lowe of Danville, four nieces, six nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Sandy was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Watseka Congregation. She worked at the Hoopeston Chronicle and later the Times-Republic. She enjoyed going to the Covered Bridge Festival, visiting zoo's, attending concerts and plays, and collecting dolls and figurines. She listened to a variety of music and in her younger days, liked to dance.
There will be no in person services. Memorial services will be via Zoom on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 1:30 pm CST. For information on joining the Zoom meeting, please contact the family or send an email to sandylowe2022@gmail.com.
