Ruth E. Kaeb

Ruth E. Kaeb, 94, of Cissna Park passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Gibson Area Hospital Annex in Gibson City. She was born on June 29, 1927 in Cissna Park, a daughter of Louis and Lydia (Moser) Neukomm. Ruth married Edward F. Kaeb in DeRidder, Louisiana on November 19, 1950 and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2009.

Ruth is survived by five sons, Thomas (Jill) Kaeb, Timothy (Colleen) Kaeb, Dale (Sandra) Kaeb, Dean (Peggy) Kaeb, and Jerry (Sara) Kaeb, all of Cissna Park; four daughters, Barbara Baer of Cissna Park, Rosemary (Ivan) Schmidgall of Silverton, Oregon, Deloris Klopfenstein of Silverton, Oregon, and Joann (Steven) Slagel of Fairbury; 38 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; and two sons-in-law, Ted Baer and Harry Klopfenstein.

Private visitation will be held at the Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park. Private graveside services will be held at the German Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Cissna Park.
