Rose Marie Fanning, 70, of Iroquois passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at her home in Iroquois. She was born on August 3, 1951 in Gary, IN, the daughter of Lawrence J. and Nadean (Simington) Burke. Rose married Gilbert Fanning in Milford on June 5, 1971 and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2020.
Surviving are one daughter, Lacie Fanning of Iroquois; granddaughter, Nadia Fanning of Iroquois; and two brothers.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Roberta Merkel.
Mrs. Fanning enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. There will be no services at this time.
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice or donor's choice.
