Roger W. Dillon

Roger W. Dillon, 87, of Watseka passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at his residence.

Roger was born on September 22, 1935 in Bloomington, the son of Jesse and Edna (Swearingen) Dillon and they preceded him in death along with two brothers, Dwight A. Dillon and Frank W. Dillon.  He married Barbara D. Marcier on January 6, 1996 in Las Vegas, NV and she survives.

Besides his wife, Barbara Dillon of Watseka, he is survived by two daughters, Tobi L. (Jeff) Wheeler of Bloomington and Michele R. (Michael) Baird of Bloomington; two grandchildren; Joshua (Brandi) Baird of Normal and Dillon (Krissy) Wheeler of Normal; two great-grandchildren, J.J. Wheeler and Sylvie Baird; three step-children, James M. Bennett of Sheldon, Sharon R. Bennett of Gilman and Brandon S. Bennett of Onarga; seven step-grandchildren, Conner, Kyle, Cyandra, Jaimie, Jordan, Wyatt, and Morgan; three step-great-grandchildren, Kharlee, Everlee, and Linx.

Roger was a member of Carlock Christian Church.  He was an electronic sales manager for over fifty years.  Roger enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
