Rebecca Grace Brown, 81, of Hoopeston passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born November 14, 1940 in Albany, KY, the daughter of Roy Lucian and Dorothy Mae (Cross) Wright and they preceded her in death. She married Clarence Alfred Brown on April 18, 1958 in Milford and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2016. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Earl and George Wright.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie Brown of Thawville and Becky Geier of East Moline; two sons, Garry (Cindy) Brown of Alvin and George Brown of Hoopeston; one sister, Wanda (Larry) Wallace of Hoopeston; three brothers, Carl (Jeannie) Wright of Maryland, Marvin (Deb) Wright of Watseka and Fred (Thelma) Wright of Milford; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Rebecca loved flowers and cooking.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland. Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
