Mary May Doyle-Butturff

Mary May Doyle-Butturff, 84, of Onarga passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1938 in Onarga, a daughter of Arthur and Ida (Schueneman) Wilkey. Mary married Paul Eugene Doyle in October 5, 1958 and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1998. She married Gerald Butturff in Clifton on August 3, 2003 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2018. She was also preceded in death by both of her parents; two half-brothers; and three sons, Paul Doyle Jr., David Doyle, and James Doyle.

Mary is survived by one daughter, Angie Doyle-Whitlock of Onarga; one son, Darrel (Katherine) Doyle of Deltona, Florida; one step-daughter, Paula Jean Bayless of Chandler, Arizona; six grandchildren, Patrick, Genell, and Elizabeth Smith, Audrey Whitlock, Shannon Doyle, and Jacob Doyle; three step-grandchildren, Kevin and Stephanie Williams and Kimberly Mackert; two great grandchildren, James Smith and Aidan Rhoads; two sisters, Lu Decker-Johns of Gilman and Alice Wilkey of Gilman.

She worked for Civil Service at Chanute Air Force Base as a realtor for many years.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Clifton with Rev. Pete Hinrich officiating with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery in Clifton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Prairieview Lutheran Home Alzheimer's Unit.
