Marie C. Fawbush

Marie C. Fawbush, 91 of Watseka passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Valley View Assisted Living in Harlingen, TX. She was born on April 11, 1930 in Watseka a daughter of John and Lena (Gocken) Taden. Marie married Raymond F. Fawbush in Crescent City on October 15, 1955 and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2000.

Survivors include one son- Jim (Amy) Fawbush of Covington, IN; four daughters- Luann Howard of Harlingen, TX, Rose (Carl) Kaufman of Crescent City, Brenda Fawbush of Corpus Christi, TX, and Donna Hammitt of Corpus Christi, TX; one granddaughter- Allison Hammitt; three great grandchildren- Nickolas DeMoss, Kodi Taylor, and Samantha Taylor; and two great great grandchildren- Kodi Taylor Jr. and Angelena Taylor Estrada. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, one son in law- Joseph Hammitt, two grandchildren- Helena Taylor and Kendra Fawbush; and one great great grandchild- Addison Taylor.

She was a member of St Peter's Lutheran Church in Crescent City.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 2, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with Pastor Keith Klossner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery in Crescent City.

Memorials may be made to Iroquois County Relay for Life or donor's choice.

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
