Louis A. Kosek

Louis A. Kosek, 73, of Ashkum passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. He was born on November 8, 1948 in Chicago, the son of Louis F. and Alice L. (Jerabek) Kosek Jr. and his father proceeded him in death.

Lou is survived by his daughter, Laura (Mark) Johnson of Orland Park; son, Andrew Kosek; one grandson, Carter; one brother, Wayne (Konnie) Kosek of Colorado; one sister, Carol (Chuck) Weck of Marengo; his girlfriend, Diane Stevens of Colfax; and his mother Alice Kosek of Elmhurst.

Lou served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Lou was a great father and friend. He was an excellent cook, loved his dogs, working on cars and motorcycles, enjoyed playing shuffleboard with his friends and spending time at the Clifton Sportsman's Club.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Why Not Stop in Clifton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chicagoland Dog Rescue, Wishbone Canine Rescue, or Family's Wishes.
