Lorene Staubus

Lorene Staubus, 93, of Archbold, OH passed away on November 8, 2023 at Fairlawn Nursing Care.  She was born on February 23, 1930 in Marshall, IL, the daughter of Charles L.  and Mary Francis (Maddy) Lawrence.  She married John R. Staubus in Cissna Park on September 8, 1951 and he preceded her in passing on November 14, 2019.

Surviving are one daughter, Anna (Terry) Jones of Bryan, OH; one grandson, Jason Jones of McCall, ID; one granddaughter, Rebecca (Nate) Stahl of Kendallville, IN; and two great grandsons, Andrew and Matthew Stahl.

She was also preceded in passing by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Lorene was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Columbus, OH, where she was a retired secretary at the church.  She was a member of the Ag Circle Women's Group.

Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church or Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

Private graveside services were held at Cissna Park Cemetery in Cissna Park, IL.
