Jerrie Mae Craighead

Jerrie Mae Craighead, 70, of Milford passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee surrounded by her family. She was born on December 28, 1952 in Auburn, IN, the daughter of John and Margot Holse. She married Joseph B. Craighead in Watseka on July 12, 1990.

Surviving are her husband of thirty-three years, Joe Craighead of Milford; one daughter, Melissa Fancher Osborn of Buckley; four grandchildren, Sheanice (Alex) Fancher of Danville, Michael R. Mann of Milford, Jordan Mann of Milford, and Ina Manning of Danville; two sisters, Karen Silfies of Ashkum and Jody Osmun of Montpelier, OH; one brother, Don (Anita) Holse of Livingston, TX; nieces and nephews, Lyle Silfies Jr, Brent (Carrie) Silfies, Keri Silfies, Tom Craighead, Jimmy Craighead, Carrie (Kyle) Brazel, and Patricia Millard; great nieces and nephews, Jaden Silfies, Jessica Silfies, Destiny Kincade, Aubree Whitley, and Miya Silfies; daughter in law, Melanie Austin; and sister in law, Carol Craighead.

Jerrie was preceded in passing by her son, Jason Paul Fancher; her parents; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Parker; one sister, Sherry Keister; two brothers in laws, Lyle Silfies Sr and Ray Craighead; and one sister in law, Brenda Schroeder.

Mrs. Craighead was a nurse and caregiver for many years. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, and spending time with her family. She loved to collect angel figurines.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
