Jared E. Johnson, 38, of Onarga passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at his home. He was born August 12, 1983 in Kankakee, the son of Kevin and Joni (Schlaich) Johnson.
He is survived by one daughter, Layla Johnson of Onarga; his mother, Joni (Mike) Weakley of Onarga; his father, Kevin (Nancy) Johnson of Momence; two sisters, Jeanna (Michael) Robinson of Crescent City and Amy Johnson of Momence; three brothers, Justin Johnson of Momence, James Weakley of Bourbonnais and Joshua Weakley of Watseka; and several nieces and nephews.
Jared liked the Packers and Cubs.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Trinity Church in Watseka. Pastor Bart Koester will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Family's Wishes.
Arrangements are by the Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman.
