James R. "Butch" Trumble, 78, of Watseka passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Arcadia Care in Clifton. He was born on March 10, 1945 in Watseka, a son of Howard R. and Alice (Cox) Trumble. Butch married Barbara K. Schumacher on November 26, 1967 in Woodworth. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2012, along with his parents and a grandchild.
Butch is survived by his son, Scott (Lisa) Trumble of Seneca; one brother, Terry Trumble of Watseka; three grandchildren, Johnathan, Christopher, and Sarah Trumble.
Butch enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Minard officiating. The visitation will be one-hour prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Body Cemetery near Woodland.
