James A. Sterrenberg

James A. Sterrenberg, 81, of Martinton passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 8, 1940 in Watseka, the son of George and Mabel (Tatro) Sterrenberg. He married Judith K. Flowers in South Beloit, IL on October 4, 1968 and she preceded him in passing on February 20, 2004.

Surviving are one son, Trent (Erika) Sterrenberg of Watseka; daughter in law, Bonnie Sterrenberg of Milford; two grandchildren, Stephanie Sterrenberg and Rilynn Sterrenberg; one sister, Vicki Mowrey of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother, Joe (Theresa) Sterrenberg of Martinton; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife Judith, Jim was preceded in death by one brother, George "Bud" Sterrenberg and one son, Vance Sterrenberg.

There was nothing that Jim enjoyed more than following the markets and watching his granddaughters grow.

A celebration of life will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Martinton Church of Christ in Martinton.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Memorials may be made to Prairie Dell Cemetery, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, or Martinton Church of Christ.
