Irene June Warren Parbs

Irene June Warren Parbs, 73, of Gilman passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 14, 1947 in Watseka, the daughter of George and Leota (Lee) Warren.
She married Quin L. Parbs in Danforth on August 25, 1973, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Walter Warren and William Warren.
Irene is survived by one son, Warren Parbs of Gilman; two daughters, Kristin Parbs of Onarga and Erin (the late Charles) Lamb of Richmond Hill, GA; five grandchildren, Lily and Serina Garcia and Simon Quin, McKenzi, and Carson Buley; two sisters, Iva (the late Ernie) Hornbuckle of Sheldon and Martha (Melvin) Hansen of Sheldon; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parbs loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed garage sales, music, and was an avid sports fan.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Danforth Cemetery with Rev. Jim Harkins officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
