Herman L. Johnson

Herman L. Johnson, 75, of Watseka and formerly of Milford passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Heritage Woods in Watseka. He was born on February 12, 1947 in Kankakee. Herman married Barbara Gulquist on March 22, 1986 in Clifton and she preceded him in death on October 30, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Hazel Scurrah and Otis Johnson; two brothers, Gary and Leo Johnson; one sister, Alice Stowe; one brother-in-law, Bob Stowe; and one sister-in-law, Pam Johnson.

He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Johnson of Clifton; one son, Harold "Matt" (Dawn) Johnson of Watseka; one brother, Donald Johnson of Aroma Park; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson was a member of the Aroma Park Lions Club and was an avid fisherman.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Knapp Funeral Home.
