Herbert H. Schermann

Herbert H. Schermann, 90, of Milford, IL passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Heritage Woods, Watseka, IL. He was born April 28, 1931 in Hermann, MO, the son of Waldo and Rose (Jacquin) Schermann. He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Schermann, his parents, two sisters, Opal Marquart, Washington, MO, and Rose Eldringhoff, Hermann, MO and one brother, Calvin Schermann, Salem, IL.

Herb is survived by three sons, Shawn (Shari) Schermann of Milford; Brent (Jamie) Schermann of Goodland, IN and Stacy (Heather) Schermann of Beaverville; nine grandchildren Sierra, Mackenzie, Eli, Trey, Jenna, Holden, Victoria, Jesselyn and Jadyn Schermann; two great grandchildren, Rowan and Scarlett.

Herb's proudest accomplishment was being an employee of the US Postal Service for 52 years, working as a Clerk in the U.S. Army in 1952 and continuing his commitment at the Milford facility. Any time he was down, his primary goal was to get back to the people and the job that he loved.
