Gladys "Pat" Mcgill

Gladys "Pat" McGill, 79 of Sheldon passed away on Thursday March 24, 2022 at Carle Hospital in Urbana. She was born on August 13, 1942 in Russellville, AR a daughter of Alva and Nora (Bowman) Woods. She married William McGill in Conway, AR on June 11, 1984 and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2001.

Surviving are six children- Dale (Brenda K) Edwards of Crescent City, David Edwards of Vilonia, AR, Cindy Edwards of Sheldon, Brenda G. Edwards of Sheldon, Jacque Turner of Watseka, Patty (Danny) Bard of Lafayette, IN; bonus daughter- Stephanie (Jordan) Anderson of Palmdale, CA; one brother- David Eric Woods of Conway, AR; five grandchildren- Matt (Courtney) Edwards, Jordan Edwards; John (Cheyenne) Schoonover, Makayla Benson, Mattie Benson; bonus granddaughter- Izydor Anderson; three great grandchildren- Owen Baker, Gracelyn Schoonover, and Canon Edwards; one brother in law- Steve Wallace of Conway, AR; one sister in law- Brenda Woods of Watseka; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Pat was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, one son, and two grandchildren.

She was a member of the Watseka Congregation of Jehovah Witness. Pat enjoyed winning at cards, attending garage and yard sales, and showering her family with love.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
