Franklin W. Eheart

Franklin W. Eheart, 48, of Conway, South Carolina, formerly of Gilman, passed away on April 26, 2022 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on September 21, 1973 in Watseka, a son of Larry E. and Debra L. (Godwin) Eheart and they preceded him in death. Franklin married Tamara Brandenburg on July 23, 2004 in Lafayette, Indiana.

Surviving are his wife, Tamara Eheart of Sheldon, two sons, Jacob Eheart of Gilman and Damon Eheart; four daughters, Alessandra Eheart of Bloomington, Indiana, Anastasia Eheart of Bloomington, Indiana, Emily Eheart of Sheldon and Stephanie Whipple of Sheldon; two grandchildren, Ashlynn Clabaugh of Sheldon and Haisley Whipple of Sheldon, one sister, Angelique (Steven) Kemarly of Gilman; one brother, Andrew (Jennifer) Eheart of Watseka; three nieces, Megan Kemarly of Gilman, Hannah Eheart of Indianapolis and Lillian Eheart of Watseka.

Franklin was a 1991 graduate of Iroquois West High School. He then went on to earn an automotive degree at KCC and later became an ASE Certified Mechanic. He was employed as a Mechanic, Security Guard, and an Uber Driver. Franklin enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and barbecuing. His passion for fishing is what lead him to move to South Carolina. There he enjoyed going to the beach and deep-sea fishing. Frank was a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga with Rev. Austin Madewell officiating and visitation one hour prior. Private graveside services will be held at the Gilman Cemetery in Gilman.
