Eva M. Curry, 91, of Watseka, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her daughter's residence. She was born on November 8, 1930 in Peoria, a daughter of Alva and Belle (Spurgeon) Sheely. Eva married Robert W. Curry Sr. in Peoria in 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2020.
Eva is survived by two sons, Robert (JoAnne) Curry Jr. of Ohio and Dr. Walter (Sylvia) Curry of Watseka; one daughter, Barbara Curry of Watseka; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and two sisters.
Eva was a member of the Catholic Faith and was very active in the Cursillo Movement. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was an avid fisherman.
Cremation rites will be accorded by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
