Ethel E. Simoneau

Ethel E. Simoneau, 92, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Citadel Care Center of Kankakee. She was born on October 2, 1930 in Milks Grove Twp., the daughter of George and Josephine (Ebert) Hartman. She married Junior J. Simoneau in Watseka in 1980 and he preceded her in passing in 2014.

Surviving are two sons, Patrick (Cheri) Lawless of Jensen Beach, FL and Michael Seibring of New Port Richey, FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two step daughters, Sandra and Kathy; and four step sons, Phillip, Marvin, Donnie, and David.

In addition to her husband, Junior, she was preceded in passing by her parents; four brothers; seven sisters; one son, Mark Seibring; and one daughter, Donna Northern.

Mrs. Simoneau attended the Catholic Church. She loved flowers, visiting with people, and watching sports and game shows on tv.

Cremation rites are being handled by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in L'Erable.

Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospital, American Heart Association, or Donor's Choice.
