Elizabeth A. "Betty" Barragree, 86, of Watseka passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.

Betty was born on October 23, 1935 in Hoopeston, the daughter of Harold and Beulah (Milner) Galloway and they preceded her in death. She married Robert "Bob" Barragree on March 2, 1957 in Hoopeston and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1997. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Jack and two sisters, Jody and Jean.

She is survived by one son, Bruce (Sandra) Barragree of Sandwich; three grandchildren, Beth (Chad) Skoff of Morris IL, Rebecca Smith of New Port Richey, FL, and Active Navy CPL Brian (Megan) Barragree of Milton, FL; and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Carter Skoff, Tannor and Mason Smith, Luna Sanchez, and Hunter, Autumn, and Ivy Barragree and a baby boy on the way.

Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church in Watseka. She volunteered at Iroquois Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Burial will follow at G.A.R. cemetery in Watseka.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Watseka.
