Earl D. Kroll

Earl D. Kroll, 77, of Milford passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. He was born on September 25, 1945 in Fairbury, IL, the son of Dewey W. and Minnie Mae (Stoup) Kroll. Earl married Alice Fanning in Milford on September 25, 1971 and she preceded him in passing on December 22, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Christina (Kroll) Hay.

Surviving are one son, Earl D. Kroll Jr. of Milford; two sisters, Dollie M. Kroll of Milford and Violet R. Kroll of Milford; two nieces, Angela Gress of Stonefort, IL and Debra Sinde of Troy, IL; one nephew, Jonathan Cash of Alton, IL; and several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

Mr. Kroll attended the Church of the Nazarene in Milford. He enjoyed watching Westerns, attending The Feast of the Hunters Moon in Indiana, and loved gardening, especially raising berries. He worked for the Village of Milford and in the community of Milford for many years.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford as well as one hour prior to the funeral services on Wednesday from 10-11:00 am.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Robert Killion will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.

Memorials may be made to the Milford Fire and Ambulance Service or Family's Wishes.
