Donald A. Neukomm, 73, of Cissna Park passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Don was born on June 19, 1947 in Watseka, the son of John and Margaret (Steiner) Neukomm Sr. and they preceded him in death along with two brothers, Dave and John Neukomm Jr. He married Catherine Klein on February 10, 1967 in Watseka and she survives.
Besides his wife, Catherine Neukomm of Cissna Park, he is survived by three daughters, Karen Neukomm of Watseka, Rachel (Shane) Dittrich of Mokena, and Tamar Luecke of New Albany, MS; two sisters, Carolyn Cary of Ft. Myers, FL and Mary Stadeli of Silverton, OR; five grandchildren, Lauren Krumwiede, John Krumwiede, Katherine Krumwiede, Cole Dittrich, and Lance Dittrich.
Mr. Neukomm was a member of First Christian Church in Hoopeston. He was a lifetime farmer in the Cissna Park area. Don served in the U.S. Army and was very proud of his grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Cissna Park Cemetery with Pastor Tom Cici officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Cissna Park American Legion.
