Delores E. Newman

Delores E. Newman, 90, of Milford passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Accolade of Danville in Danville, IL.  She was born on May 30, 1933 in Chicago, the daughter of Samuel and Nettie (Chizik) Balanoff.  She married Arthur M. Newman in Greenup, KY on August 31, 1950 and he preceded her in passing on July 14, 2013.

Surviving are one daughter, Kathy (Scott) LaFond; two sons, Doug (Diane) Newman of Milford and Rod (Jo) Newman of Sheldon; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Arthur; and four brothers.

Mrs. Newman enjoyed nature and attending garage sales.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.  Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service from 9:00-11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Milford Fire Department.
