Christopher L. Brown

Christopher L. Brown, 46, of Piper City passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. He was born on December 17, 1976 in Fairbury, a son of Michael and Debra (Hurt) Brown Sr. and they survive in Piper City.

Also surviving are one brother, Mike (Jeanette) Brown of Colfax; his niece and nephew, Jaycey and Riley Brown of Colfax; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris was a Prairie Central graduate. He loved everyone and had lots of friends. Chris loved cars and his cat, Pixie. His favorite place to visit was the Gulf of Mexico. Chris had worked in the parts department at several auto dealerships.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Iroquois County Animal Rescue or Piper City United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are by the Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman.
