Charles "Bob" R. Crawford

Charles R. "Bob" Crawford, 88, of Milford passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 peacefully at his home surrounded by family.

Bob was born on July 28, 1934 in Watseka, the son of Ira Maxwell and Helen (Slife) Crawford. He married Linda Shoufler on November 7, 1987 in Milford and she survives.

Besides his wife, Linda Crawford of Milford, he is survived by one daughter, Diana (Dave) Wright of Milford; two sons, Jeff (Nancy) Crawford of Milford and Todd (Susan) Crawford of Milford; one step-son, Bopper (Stacey) Gillette of Stockland; one step-daughter, Donna (Randy) Hiltz of Milford; eight grandchildren, T.J Crawford (Jennifer) and Jade Crawford (Travis), Charlton Maxwell Crawford, Clover Dawn Crawford, Clarity Elaine Crawford and their mother, Angel Crawford, Jamie (Darren) Bakken and Jennifer Mowrey, and Jesse (Ryan) Covarrubias; five great-grandchildren, Ryli and Chloe Hoaks, Madelyn and Abigail Crawford, and Cecelia Bakken; and his dog, Minder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marilyn Verkler and Barbara Schmidt; one son, Charles Crawford; and his dog, Mindie.

Bob was a lifetime farmer. He was a member of Milford Lions Club, Slow Boys Tractor Club, FFA Alumni, and served on the Milford School Board.

Visitation will be from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford with Pastor Darla Holden officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.
