Bobby J. Elumbaugh, 73, of Clifton passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Bobby was born January 26, 1948 in Arkansas, the son of Joe and Edna (Cousey) Elumbaugh and they preceded him in death along with one brother, Larry Elumbaugh; and one sister, Mary Jo McElyea.
He married Becky Brave on May 3, 1975 in Chebanse and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Jason Elumbaugh of Clifton and Donald (Kathy) Elumbaugh of Kankakee; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Jayden Elumbaugh; and three sisters, Phyllis (the late Bill) Napier of Memphis, TN, Pat (David) Ricketts of London, Arkansas, and Sandra (Brad) Inherst of Martinsville, Ohio.
Bobby served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam serving on the USS Forrestal from May 1966 April 1970. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Chebanse and Medina Shriners in Addison. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and music. He was a talented musician, known for writing and performing his own music.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Rev. Michael Seed will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Chebanse.
