Ashley W. (Shortsleeve) Casey

Ashley Wren (Shortsleeve) Casey, 39, of Joliet, IL passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born March 5, 1982 and grew up in Donovan, the daughter of Richard and Carol (Hewitt) Shortsleeve.

Surviving are her parents, Richard and Carol Shortsleeve of Donovan, IL (recently relocated to Upland, IN); her children, Orlando Casey of Bradenton, FL, Jadyn Casey of Bradenton, FL, and Sawyer Shortsleeve of Donovan, IL (recently relocated to Upland, IN); her siblings, Richard (Jamie) Shortsleeve of Upland, IN, Christine (Ralph) Waldo of Carmel, IN, and Carrie (Eric) Little of Batavia, IL.

Ashley graduated from Donovan High School in 2000. Following high school she attended Kankakee Community College and Illinois State University.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her beloved dog (Zoey).

Cremation rites are being handled by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.

A graveside memorial service will be at 11:00 am CST on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Watseka, IL. Pastor Kevin Nourie will officiate.
