Anna Mae Chouinard
July 31 st , 1948 – July 14 th , 2023

Anna Mae Chouinard lived a life of abundant love, generosity, patience, and
kindness. She is survived by her husband and life-long soulmate, Bill Chouinard.
Together, they helped run Chouinard’s Grocery and lived a life of love, laughter,
and service to others.

In her early years, Anna was a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital, where she birthed all
ten of their children: Cindy Depoister (Howard), Susan White (Edward), Jen
Hathcock (Delton), Cathy Gutierrez (Alfredo), Joe Chouinard (Angela), Steve
Chouinard (Nora), Tom Chouinard (Misty), Tim Chouinard (Kathy), Andy
Chouinard (Joyce), and Ed Chouinard (Kaitlyn).

Along with her husband and children, those left to cherish Ann’s memory are her
29 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, two sisters: Vicki Gardner (Ron) and
Mary Regnier, one brother, Mike Reneau (Ruth), and a host of additional family
members and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her brother Scott (Pam), brother-in-law, Dave
Regnier, parents Doris and Ambrose Reneau, in-laws, Delia and Leroy Chouinard,
and granddaughter, Beth Ann Depoister. Ann Chouinard was a loyal Cubs fan and
liked watching football. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, cooking, and
playing card games, as well. Ann made time for everyone.

Anna Mae Chouinard will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, fun-loving
nature, amazing strength, and her compassionate caring heart.

A memorial visitation will be held from 8:45am – 9:45am on Saturday, July 29 th , at
Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Chebanse, where Ann and Bill married
on May 27 th , 1967. The memorial mass will begin at 10:00am, followed by
interment at Saint Mary and Joseph Cemetery.
