Thelma Ann Webster

Thelma Ann Webster, 87 of Houston, TX passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. She was born on September 6, 1933 in Watseka, the daughter of Elmer and Anna (Drayer) Hari. She married Greg E. Webster in Hoopeston on August 21, 1955 and he survives. She is also survived by four siblings, Arcelia Watson of Savoy, Eldon (Betty) Hari of Hoopeston, Karen (Todd) Feller of Peachtree City, GA, and Dennis Hari of Rankin, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Dean Hari; and two sisters, Nelda Faye Hari and Alberta Germann. Mrs. Webster was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church of Houston and was the co-chairman of the Shepard Committee. She and Greg traveled to 67 countries. Thelma was a retired school teacher, amazing seamstress and cook, and a wonderful wife and dear friend to all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the First United Methodist Church in Watseka. Pastor Kara Berg will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois. Memorials may be made to the Lakewood United Methodist Church-Shepard’s Ministry. Arrangements by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
