Dorothy Mae Rudisill

November 11, 1931 - April 19, 2022

Dorothy Mae Rudisill, 90, of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at her residence. Dorothy was born on November 11, 1931 in Chatsworth, the daughter of Everett Gordon and Gertrude Mae (Miller) Brammer and they preceded her in death. She married David Rudisill on October 7, 1950 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Dietcher; and one son, David Dean Rudisill. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kay Ricciuto of Watseka and Jill Ann Rudisill of Watseka; four grandchildren, David “D.D.”, Jacob, Kenneth, and Daniel Rudisill; and five great-grandchildren, Devin, Caleb, Dalton, Isaac, and Claire Rudisill. Dorothy worked as an inspector at UARCO for thirty years before her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Elaine Daugherty will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka. Memorials may be made to VITAS Hospice of Bradley.
