Thomas W. Wyatt, 61, Sheldon, IL

Thomas W. Wyatt, 61, of Sheldon passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Sheldon Health Care Center.

He was born on December 3, 1950 in Springfield, son of Thomas D. and Betty J. Eden Wyatt.  He married Anita L. Bell on June 15, 1985 in Watseka.

Surviving are his wife, Anita Wyatt of Sheldon; his parents, Tom and Betty Wyatt of Ottawa; one sister, Jeanne (John) Armstrong of Ottawa; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary L. Bell and Gene Bell of Sheldon; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Karen (Alan) Schriefer of Springville, UT, Linda Carey of Watseka and Brian (Lynn) Bell of Sheldon; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Wyatt and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Mr. Wyatt graduated from Ottawa Twp. High in 1969, served in the Air Force and worked in the healthcare field for over 40 years.  He attended Woodstock and loved music, his dogs, his swimming pool and people in general.

A Celebration of Life service will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon.
