Phyllis June Oldridge, 85, Onarga, IL

Phyllis June Oldridge, 85, of Onarga passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.

Phyllis was born January 29, 1927 in Onarga, a daughter of Donald and Alta Butler Morgan.  She married Marlin Oldridge on September 22, 1946 in Onarga and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2002.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Oldridge of Onarga and Rick Oldridge of Gilman; and two grandchildren, Carly Oldridge and Eli Oldridge both of Danforth.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Gary.

During World War II she served in the AFC in New Jersey. She attended U of I Business College.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.  Rev. Elizabeth Reis will officiate.  Burial will be in the Onarga Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or donor’s choice.
