LaNora L. Montgomery, 85, Milford, IL

LaNora L. Montgomery, 85, of Milford passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Watseka Rehab and HealthCare Center in Watseka. 

LaNora was born June 5, 1927 in Rock Island, IL, a daughter of John and Anna Whipple Jones.  She married Robert L. Montgomery on October 19, 1947 in Milford and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2010.

Surviving are two sons, Rick Montgomery of Danville and Jerry (Robin) Montgomery of Boswell, IN; one daughter, Ronnda (David) Allen of Milford; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Mrs. Montgomery enjoyed playing the accordion and belonged to the Grandmothers Club.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.  Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate.  Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.
