Juanita A. Prault, 92, Crestwood, IL

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Clifton for 92 year old Juanita Prault of Crestwood.  The Rev. Vern Arseneau will officiate.  Friends may call at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in the L’Erable Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Seasons Hospice.  Mrs. Prault was a former Clifton resident and passed away early Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Crestwood. 

Mrs. Prault was born on October 3, 1919 in Kankakee, a daughter of Bert C. and Carrie Haynes Mullinix.  She married Wesley A. Prault in Watseka on January 11, 1941 and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1996.

Surviving are a daughter, Carla (William) Ford of Crestwood; three sons, James (Cleo) Prault of McHenry, Mickie (Denise) Prault of Bloomington and Vincent (Marilyn) Prault of Normal; nine grandchildren, Trent Prault, Dani Flynn, Janelle Prault, Joseph Ford, Darrin Ford, Michael Prault, Mary Biel, Annie Stone and Laura Prault; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and four sisters.

Mrs. Prault was the former longtime housewares manager at the Aldens Dept. Store in Kankakee.  She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Clifton and it’s CCW.  She enjoyed baking and over the years had made countless wedding cakes for area couples and brought joy to many others with her baked goods.
