Henry R. Trumann, 79, Milford, IL

Henry R. Trumann, 79, of Milford, IL passed away on Friday, Aug 17, 2012 at the Iroquois Residents Home in Watseka, IL.

Henry was born Jan. 5, 1933 in Dawson Park, IL, a son of John and Margaret Duden Trumann. He first married Mozella “Cindy” Reece on March 1, 1951 in Kentucky. She passed away on June 21, 1984. He then married Gloria Howard on March 11, 1989 in Milford, IL.

Henry is survived by his wife, Gloria Trumann of Milford; three daughters & sons-in-law, Sally (Dinty) Musk of Meridian, MS, Sherry (Leroy) Garrelts of Milford, Sheila (Robert) Rogers of Milford; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Stacie)Trumann of Milford; twelve grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Castonguay, Chad Garrelts (Angie), Aaron Castonguay, Shannon Garrelts, Travis (Christine) Rogers, Stephanie Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Natasha Kerst, Andrea Crothers, Emily, Zane, and Luke Trumann; eleven great-grandchildren; 4 step-sons and 1 step-daughter.

Mr. Trumann was preceded in death by both of his parents; one daughter, Sandra Trumann; one brother, Walt Trumann; one sister, Inez Trumann; two grandchildren, Justin Garrelts and Eric Castonguay; and one step-daughter.

Henry was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Milford. He loved gardening, c.b. radios, and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug 21, 2012 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Milford. The Rev. Karl Gibbs will be officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice in Watseka.
