<p>Harry was born March 11, 1930 in Hoopeston, a son of Edward S. and Effie F. Riggs Beam. He married Shirley Camp on October 13, 1951 in Hoopeston and she survives.</p>
<p>Other survivors include one son, Roger (Donna) Beam of Dadeville, AL; three daughters, Dawn (Mike) Garner of Watseka, Jo Ellyn (Terry) Pheifer of Lake Helen, FL, and Holly Beam and partner Kelli Clark of Orange City, FL; daughter-in-law, Marie Beam of Watseka; seven grandchildren, Jennipher (Todd) Pangle of Waupaco, WI, Kari (Roy) Scott of Almond, WI, Stacy Beam, Ryan Garner and Samantha Garner all of Watseka, Alex (Ashley) Ulitzsch of Crescent City and Brandon Ulitzsch of Lake Helen, FL; seven step-grandchildren, Scott (Kim) Howell of Bessemer, AL, Todd (Tanya) Howell of Alexander City, AL, Joshua Clark and Harlie Clark of Alachua, FL, Todd (Christi) Pheifer of Crescent City, Stacy (Patrick) Laird of Watseka and Christopher Pheifer of Onarga; five great-grandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; five sisters; and one son, Edward Beam.</p>
<p>Mr. Beam was a member and Deacon at Pittwood Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Harry was employed at Uarco from 1952-1992. He also coached Little League B<a name="_GoBack"></a>aseball, Babe Ruth Baseball and Girls Softball for many years, as well as served as a past school board member for Pittwood School and Unit #9 Schools. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Revs. Van Haas and Charles Ballengee will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois with military graveside rites by the Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to the Pittwood Christian Church, Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler or the donor’s choice.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Diann “Annie” Norder, 56, of Sheldon passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her residence.</p>
<p>Annie was born June 29, 1956 in Campton, KY, a daughter of James and Ida Hollon Wood.  She married Greg Norder on August 15, 1992 in Watseka and he survives.</p>
<p>Other survivors include one daughter, Misty (Curt) Walkup of Kentland, IN; two sons, Shawn (Nina) Marcum of Chicago and Chad Norder of Crescent City; seven grandchildren, Hayley, Levi, Kelsie, Nash, Jasmine, Skyler, and Benjamin; five sisters, Faye Halstead of Morocco, IN, Thelma Miller of Watseka, Becky (Bruce) Smith of Charlotte, NC, Mary Alice Newger of Sheldon, and Patty (Norm) Lewis of Sheldon; two brother-in-laws, Tom Garrett and Doug Norder both of Sheldon; and several nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.</p>
<p>Mrs. Norder was a member of the First Christian Church of Watseka.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant at ABRA in Sheldon.  Annie loved children and also enjoyed gardening and collecting things.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon.  Dr. Charles A. Witte will officiate.  Burial will be in Gaffield Cemetery in Iroquois.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon.</p>

<p>Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Private family services will follow at Stearns Cemetery in Fithian.</p>

<p>Linda was born July 5, 1959 in Watseka, the daughter of Charles and Iva Lou Shambrook Patterson and they preceded her in death.  She married William D. Manahan on December 5, 1989 in Watseka and he survives.</p>
<p>Other survivors include one daughter, Kendra J. Manahan of Onarga and one sister, Sue (George) Dickenson of Onarga.</p>
<p>Mrs. Manahan enjoyed baking, collecting tweety birds and lady bugs, and wintering in South Padre Island.  She loved music by Willie Nelson.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Onarga Cemetery.</p>

Fogel, 69, of Paxton passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at her home.</p>
<p>Patti was born January 24, 1944 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Robert and Marcella Zobel Wheeler and they preceded her in death.</p>
<p>Surviving are one daughter, Mercedese Lynn Bantz (Elizabeth) of Lake Forest, CA; one son, Dennis Robert Jamison (Rocio) of Paxton; five grandchildren, Reno, Diamond, Liberty, Kirk and Ezri; two brothers, Robert &#8220;Bob&#8221; Wheeler of Grants Pass, OR and William &#8220;Bill&#8221; Wheeler (Betsy) of Paxton; three cousins, Richard Gunst of Coupeville, WA, Heather Zobel of Crestwood and Keith Zobel of Las Vegas, NV; three nepews, Billy, Jason and Troy; and one niece, Stacey.</p>
<p>Patti was perhaps best known in Paxton for painting scenes on the store windows downtown at Christmastime.  She painted signs for many years and some of her work still stands in Paxton.  She was also employed as a visual merchandiser and publicist for the Army Air Force Exchange Service at Chanute AFB in Rantoul.  Before retiring in 2012, Patti worked at the Paxton IGA.  Patti was an animal lover, enjoying her cats, Bingo and Chick, as well as enjoying feeding the local squirrels and birds.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until the 4:30 p.m. memorial service on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the First Lutheran Church in Paxton.  Pastor Colleen Lawrence will officiate.  A dinner will be served immediately following the memorial service.</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to the Patti Painter Scholarship Fund.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Harold L. Williams, 82, of Bourbonnais and formerly of Stockland passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home.</p>
<p>Harold was born June 21, 1930 in Wellington, a son of Charles and Nima Carlson Williams.  He married Phyllis A. Collins on December 30, 1951 in Norfolk, VA and she preceded him in death on October 2, 2011.</p>
<p>Survivors include one son, Chris Williams of Carrollton, IL; three daughters, Carol (Tom) Wedl of Jefferson, WI, LeeAnn Williams of Bourbonnais, and Susan Williams of Bourbonnais; one brother, Donald Williams of Portland, OR; one grandson, Matthew Williams of Carrollton, IL; and one great granddaughter, Jasmine Williams of Carrollton, IL.</p>
<p>In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.</p>
<p>Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Navy.  He was also a member of the Milford Christian Church and a retired farmer.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Milford Christian Church.  Revs. Brent Zastrow and Gary Milton will officiate.  Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland with military graveside rites by the Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jean Kay Hines, 67, of Naperville and formerly of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Edward Hospital in Naperville.</p>
<p>Jean was born September 24, 1945 in Paxton, the daughter of Arno and Betty Corbly Krumwiede.  She married Charles B. Hines on April 9, 1967 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church at Woodworth and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2002.</p>
<p>Surviving are one son, Nathan (Charissa) Hines of Naperville; one sister, Delores (Roger) Hasselbring of Cissna Park; and one grandson, Charles Dennis Hines of Naperville.</p>
<p>In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Melody Trumble; and one son, Nicholas Hines.</p>
<p>Mrs. Hines was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.  She worked for the American Red Cross in Watseka for 25 years and enjoyed watching the Cubs and playing cards.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Rev. Karl Gibbs will officiate.  Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.</p>

<p>Mr. Peters was born on October 28, 1928 in Kankakee, the son of Fred W. and Mabel D. Ruebensam Peters, his parents are deceased. He married the former Mary A.Yonke at Ashkum on November 3, 1951 and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2009.</p>
<p>Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy (Brent) Eden of Wyoming, MI and Julie (Eddie) Robertson of Spring City, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Laura) Peters of Chatham; 9 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, JoAnne (Jim) Stone of Kankakee. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Eden and a brother, Roger Peters.</p>
<p>Mr. Peters was a lifelong farmer and had also worked as a mechanic for Gahwilers Garage and Central Community Unit Dist. #4. He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and a former lay minister of the Church. He belonged to Lutheran Laymens League and Illinois Farm Bureau. He sold seed for LG Seeds and was a former District Sales Representative for LG Seeds. He was a former drainage district commissioner and an avid NASCAR Fan.</p>

McConnell, 95, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Sheldon Health Care Center.</p>
<p>Muriel was born June 5, 1917 in Watseka, the daughter of Perry and Lucy Probasco Johnson.  She married Raymond Trumble on April 9, 1939 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1952.  She later married David J. McConnell on March 23, 1957 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on February 5, 1998.</p>
<p>Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy (Jack) Gylfie of California and Colleen (Robert) Tincher of Watseka; three sons, Dean (Judy) Trumble of Bayles Lake, Loda, David (Donna) Trumble of Georgetown, TX and Douglas (Peggy) Trumble of Yorkville; two step-daughters, Frances Deitch of Camp Hill, PA and Beverly (William) Garber of Timberville, VA; sixteen grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>In addition to her husbands, she was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; three sisters; one son, Dennis Trumble; three step-sons, Mervin, William and Franklin McConnell; and one grandson, Josh Tincher.</p>
<p>Mrs. McConnell was a member of the Centennial Christian Church in Watseka.  She was a nurses aide at the Sheldon Nursing Home for 20 years and enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Joe Hughes will officiate.  Burial will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Watseka.</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to the Centennial Christian Church in Watseka.</p>

<p>Eileen was born January 11, 1926 in Warren Twp., IN, the daughter of Ernest and Ida Clark Light.  She married Floyd T. Hinderliter on January 11, 1947 in Sheldon and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2002.</p>
<p>Surviving are two sons, Mike (Pam) Hinderliter of Prescott, AZ and Jeff (Lynne) Hinderliter of Casa Grande, AZ; two sisters-in-law, Emma Jane Light of Sheldon and Mary Lou Oberloh of Watseka; one brother-in-law, Sheldon Hinderliter of Watseka; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Rod Light of Watseka along with several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.</p>
<p>In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and four sisters.</p>
<p>Mrs. Hinderliter was a member of the Darrow Church of Christ.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Dr. Chauncey Lattimer Jr. and Rod Light will officiate.  Burial will be in Iroquois Memorial Park in Watseka.</p>

<p>Kenneth was born November 13, 1944 in Kankakee, the son of Kenneth F. and Pearl St. John Pittman and they preceded him in death.</p>
<p>Surviving are three sisters, Mary Pittman of Oak Park, Kathy (Curtis) Burton-McClendon of Calabasas, CA and Nancy (Dale) Mulder of Dickinson, TX; one brother, Michael (Jackie) Pittman of Clifton; and his special friend, Sharee Williams of Bradley.</p>
<p>Mr. Pittman was a car salesman and an avid sports fan.</p>
<p>Cremation rites were accorded and no services will be held.</p>

<p>Mr. Greenburg was born on May 18, 1928 in rural Clifton, the son of Einer and Dolly Belle Harling Greenburg, his parents are deceased.  Mr. Greenburg married the former Kathryn M. Kempen at L’Erable on June 6, 1951, and she survives at Clifton.  Also surviving are a daughter, Rhonda Greenburg of ElPaso, IL; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Carl F. Greenburg of Bloomington, Ronald and Mary Greenburg of Menomonee Falls, WI, Kurt Greenburg of Chebanse, Richard and Mary Greenburg of Naperville and Robert Greenburg of Clifton; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one sister, Alberta Kunde of Kankakee.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Sue Greenburg.</p>
<p>Mr. Greenburg was a veteran of service with the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Clifton.  He enjoyed riding his scooter and golf cart, using the computer and being with family especially, his grandchildren.  Mr. Greenburg was an assemblyman and had worked at the AO Smith Corp. plant in Kankakee.  He retired after 38 years of service.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Robert &#8220;Bob&#8221; E. Killion, 83, of Cissna Park passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at his home.</p>
<p>Bob was born December 29, 1929 in Danville, the son of John P. and Audrey G. Phillips Killion.  He married Mary Schuler on November 24, 1952 in Momence and she survives.</p>
<p>Other survivors include three sons, Bob (Pat) Killion of Onarga, John (Anna) Killion of Champaign and Joedy (Kymm) Killion of Scottsdale, AZ; two daughters, Kim Atkins of Cissna Park and Karen (Mark) Lessman of Buckley; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Killion and Wayne Rutledge; and one daughter, Shawn Nimz.</p>
<p>Mr. Killion served in the U.S. Army National Guard.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park.  Bob was a shop foreman at McCullough&#8217;s and enjoyed taking care of rose bushes, woodworking, puzzles, fishing and attending his grandsons&#8217; ball games.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park.  Rev. Tim Hahn will officiate.  Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Cissna Park.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.</p>

<p>He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.</p>
<p>Mr. Bohlmann served in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Crescent City, Men in Mission of St. Peters Lutheran Church, and Cissna Park American Legion.  Robert was employed at Uarco for 27 years and farmed for many years.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Crescent City.  Rev. Joel Brown will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery in Crescent City.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.</p>

Strough, 66, of Sheldon passed away on April 20, 2013 at his son’s home in Bourbonnais. </p>
<p>Don was born November 27, 1946 in Kankakee, the son of Vernon and Eileen Trumble Strough.  He married Carla Wilkinson in Sheldon on May 11, 1968 and she preceded him in death on November 8, 2008.</p>
<p>Surviving are two sons, Jeff Strough and special friend, Teresa Burton of Kentland, IN. and Steven (Katherine) Strough of Bourbonnais; two grandchildren, Alexander and Mackenzie Strough; and his mother, Eileen Strough of Danforth.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Carla; his father, Vernon; and one sister, Diane Smith.</p>
<p>Mr. Strough enjoyed bowling, fishing, and gardening.  He was an avid Cubs and Illini fan.  Don worked at UARCO for many years and later on at Big R.  He enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren’s activities and everyone knew his favorite pastime was being a Grandpa.</p>
<p>Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon.  Ben Stone will officiate.  Burial will be at the Sheldon Cemetery.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to the family’s wishes for the purpose of supporting local organizations that assisted Don throughout the last few years of his life.</p>
