Elouise Gray, 91, Watseka, IL

Elouise Gray, 91, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Watseka Rehab & Health Care Center.

Elouise was born January 5, 1921 in McEwen, TN, a daughter of Alan and Esther Spring Clawson.  She married Ben Frank Gray on November 13, 1937 in Monticello, IN and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1989.

Surviving are three daughters, Yvonne (Ronald) Priest, June Hepp and Beth (Mark) Hoover all of Watseka; one son, David (Kim) Gray of Crossville, TN; two sisters-in-law, Helen Gray and Norma Clawson both of Watseka; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Paul Gray; one grandchild, James; one sister, Rita Raymond; and one brother, Charles Clawson.

Mrs. Gray was a member of Jehovah’s Witness in Watseka.  She enjoyed ministry work, knitting and reading.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Richard Harmeson will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date in Lyman Cemetery in Watseka.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
