Dorothy C. Zeller, 92, Watseka, IL

Dorothy C. Zeller, 92, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka.

Dorothy was born June 5, 1920 in Mason City, IA, the daughter of Anton and Emma Balik Schmitt.  She married Donald A. Zeller on March 23, 1944 in Mason City, IA and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2003.

Surviving are one daughter, Jeanne (Stan) Elliott of Watseka; two sons, Jerry (Jan) Zeller of North Port, FL and Tom (Paula) Zeller of Jacksonville, IL; one sister, Lorene Timm of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, April, Parrish, Amy, Allison, Andrea, Todd and Bob; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Schmitt.

Mrs. Zeller was a member of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Watseka.  She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and was an avid collector.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Fr. Mike Powell will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.

Memorials may be made to the Iroquois Resident Home Activity Fund.
