<p>Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Ashley of Channahon; his son, Michael Benedict of Essex, IL; his adopted daughter, Jennifer (Eric) McQuinn of Denver, Colorado; and 2 brothers, Lyle and Glenford Benedict of Gridley, IL; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, four sisters, and two sons.</p>
<p>Clifford retired from Olin Chemical in Joliet, IL. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Paxton. He was a strong believer and Christian man. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge and Moose Lodge. He was a loving father and papa.</p>
<p>Services will be held noon, Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Church of Christ in Paxton. Rev. John Davenport and Rev. Terry Cooper will be officiating. Burial will be held at Gridley Cemetery in Gridley, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Paxton. A Masonic service will be held 9:00 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor</p>

She was the wife of the late Michael G. Dillman.</p>
<p>She was born in Peoria, Illinois on July 16, 1937, the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Gillan Gobble of Watseka. She was raised in Watseka and attended Purdue University, where she majored in Journalism. She married and moved to Connecticut in 1959 and raised her family there, first in Norwalk and then Redding.</p>
<p>Mrs. Dillman was a freelance writer and recently published her book, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Congregation</span>. She was a member of the United Congregational Church of Middletown, RI, and served as the Church Clerk for three years and on the Missions Committee. She was a member of the Aquidneck Island Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served as a trustee for the Middletown Library from 1997 to 2002. She also served on the Board of the Friends of the Middletown Library and was a volunteer at the Potter League for Animals and a member of the Viking Bridge Club.</p>
<p>She is survived by a son, David Dillman of Hull, MA: a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and William Collins and three grandsons, Michael, Andrew and Fred Collins of Portsmouth, RI and a granddaughter, Isabella Arms, of Cape Coral, FL.</p>
<p>Graveside services will be conducted at 11am on Friday September 10<sup>th </sup>at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.   Rev. Tom McCann will officate.  A memorial service will be conducted at 3 pm on September 19<sup>th</sup>  at the United Congregational Church in Middletown, RI</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Watseka.</p>

<p>She is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, maternal grandparents, her father; Robert, and her brother; Matthew.</p>
<p>Amanda was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority at Illinois State University, she was the team captain for Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society. She loved to dance, attend concerts, and enjoyed reading. She also worked in the marketing department in the Siteman Cancer Society.</p>
<p>Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Onarga. A visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Rev. Michael Poynter will be officiating. Burial will be held at Onarga Cemetery in Onarga, IL.</p>
<p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center or the Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society.</p>

(Jim) Krones, 69, of Watseka, passed away September 4, 2010 at Faith Place in Danforth, IL. He was born December 2, 1940 the son of Joseph and Marie Reilly Krones in Gilman, IL. He married Judine (Judy) Brennan August 29, 1964 in Woodstock, IL.</p>
<p>James worked as a general supervisor pressroom and purchasing agent at Uraco/Standard Register for 42 years. He was a member of St. Edmunds Catholic Church in Watseka, former President of St. Edmunds Church Council, &amp; sang in the church choir. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, Past Grand Knight, past coach of little league &amp; softball teams, &amp; Shewami member. He enjoyed cards, avid sports fan, gardening, &amp; loved his family. He was always active in the Watseka community.</p>
<p>Survivors include his wife, Judy of Watseka; 3 daughters, Laurie (Tom) Kellen of Alton, IA; Jacquelyn (fiancé, Eric Reel) Krones of Seattle, WA; Mary Pat Krones of Palatine, IL; one son, Richard (Samantha) Krones of Edmonds, WA; 2 brothers, Tom (Lois) Krones of Chenoa; Steven (Patty) Krones of Gilman; two sisters, Helen (Gene) Bruens of Watseka; &amp; Kathleen (Bob) Manahan of Gilman, IL; five grandchildren, Megan, James, Meredith Kellen of Alton, IA &amp; Gabriella, &amp; Jackson James Krones of Edmonds, WA; and four sister-in-laws, Betty Krones of Arkansas, Sal Krones of Kansas, Sandy Krones of Kankakee, and Mellanie Brennan of Wilmette, IL.<br />
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Jerry, Leo, Gene; one sister, Mary Ann Anstett; and one sister-in-law, Pat Krones; one brother-in-law, Robert Anstett.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Darlene Bartholomew, 72, of Watseka passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.</p>
<p>Mrs. Bartholomew was born October 16, 1937, in Kankakee, a daughter of Gustave and Grace M. Rapier Rothermel Jr.  She married Clifford Bartholomew on July 2, 1958 in East Chicago.  He preceded her in death on July 17, 1988.</p>
<p>Surviving are one son, George Bartholomew of Milford; two brothers, Daniel and David Rothermel both of Watseka; and three sisters, Joyce Junglas of Watseka, Linda Takacs of Demotte, IN and Florence Trpicovsky of Hoopeston.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.</p>
<p>Mrs. Bartholomew enjoyed crossword puzzles and knitting.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Joe Hughes will officiate.  Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Watseka. </p>

The ministers of the church will officiate. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Cissna Park.</p>
<p>Mrs. Rudin was born Dec. 27, 1942 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Benjamin and Marie Kaufmann Laubscher. She married Gary Rudin on Jan. 20, 1963 in Cissna Park and he survives.</p>
<p>Other survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Knight and husband, Wes, of Rankin and Dawn Wright and husband, Tim, of West Lafayette, IN; two sons, Greg Rudin of Council Bluff, IA and Chris Rudin and wife, Lynnette, of Rankin; three brothers, Walter Laubscher and wife, Sylvia, and Wayne Laubscher and wife, Gloria, all of Cissna Park and Edward Laubscher of Sheldon; her father-in-law, Ben Rudin, of Cissna Park; and seven grandchildren.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald; and one grandchild, Collin Knight.</p>
<p>Mrs. Rudin was an avid Cubs fan. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Donor&#8217;s Choice.</p>

<p>Mr. Rasmussen was born July 23, 1924 in Onarga, IL, a son of Harry and Ruth L. Kissack Rasmussen. He married Beverly Williams and she survives.</p>
<p>Other survivors include one daughter, Carol Ann Samel of Missouri; one son, Gary Rasmussen of Landsdale, PA; one brother, Wayne Rasmussen of Bourbonnais, IL; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>Mr. Rasmussen had been a resident of Florida for twenty-three years, having moved there from Acworth, GA. He retired as a District Manager from Liquid Propane Gas in Long Beach, CA and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Port Orange, FL. He enjoyed woodworking and citizen band radio.</p>

<p>Mr. Hustedt was born on September 6, 1913 in Long Prairie, MN, a son of Dietrich and Fannie Ennen Hustedt.  He married Phyllis M. Perkins on May 2, 1942 in Palmyra, MO.  She preceded him in death on October 20, 2007.</p>
<p>Surviving are several nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and 4 sisters.</p>
<p>Mr. Hustedt served in the Army during World War II.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Clifton.  Cecil was a farmer, worked for the City of Chebanse in the maintenance dept. for 16 years and enjoyed traveling, reading and jigsaw puzzles.</p>
<p>Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.</p>

<p>Mrs. Jones was a member of the Congregational Church of Thawville and was a beautician for over 50 years.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.  Rev. Tom Jones will officiate.  Burial will be in the  Ridgeland Twp. Cemetery in Thawville, IL.</p>

Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton with a parish prayer service to be held at 5:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Clifton. Rev. Vern Arseneau will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Merkle-Knipprath Nursing Home or for Masses.</p>
<p>Mr. Jensen farmed north of Ashkum, IL from 1947 until 1959. He retired in 1983 from Meier Oil Service, Ashkum. Mr. Jensen was born July 7, 1923 in Clifton, IL, the son of Frederick &#8220;Roy&#8221; Jensen and Alice Elizabeth Mathy. He loved woodworking, watching the Cubs and was a huge supporter of Central Comet sports. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Clifton Lions Club, Ashkum American Legion, Clifton Fire Dept., Holy Name Society, and the Kankakee County and Iroquois County Oilmen&#8217;s Society. He  was also a former Village Trustee in Clifton for 15 years and was former treasurer of the Clifton Pool Committee.</p>
<p>He married Katherine &#8221;Kitty&#8221; Mitchell on July 26, 1947 and she passed away on February 24, 2010. Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Trudie and Ben Imhauser of Chebanse, and Jeanette Ponton and special friend, Robert Berns, of Clifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Durl and Donna Jensen of Snellville, GA; eight grandchildren, Alissa (Mark) Hodel, Aaron (Alicia) Imhauser, Jessica (Dustin) Pangle, Jason Ponton (special friend, Wendy Martinez), Wendy (Paul) Leyva, Paige Jensen, Leslie (James) Mundy and Taren Jensen; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Merrill Lareau of Gilman; one brother and sister-in-law, Maynard and Ruth Jensen of Ashkum; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>Besides his wife, &#8220;Kitty&#8221;, he was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Julie Ponton; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Vialta Jensen; and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Joanne Mitchell.</p>

<p>Orillia formerly owned and operated Pete &amp; Marie&#8217;s Bar in Martinton, IL. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and watching the Minnesota Twins on T.V. Orillia was also a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Crawford Lake for the past twenty-five years.</p>
<p>She is survived by her children, Raymond Kottke of Monticello, IL, Ronald (Trudy) Kottke of Papineau, IL and Arliss (Lonnie) Johnson of Montrose, MN; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Martha St. Peter of Watseka, IL.</p>
<p>Orillia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kottke, in 1974; one son, Marvin Kottke; her parents; and five siblings.</p>
<p>A visitation will be held for two hours prior to the 6 p.m. prayer service on Thursday, August 26, at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, MN. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, at St. John&#8217;s Lutheran Cemetery in Buckley, IL.</p>

<p>He enjoyed reading, drawing and spending time with his family.</p>
<p>A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 12:00 p.m. services, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.</p>
