Sharen M. Graham, 71, Danforth, IL
Sharen M. “Grammy” Graham, 71, of Danforth and formerly of Watseka passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth.
Mrs. Graham was born June 3, 1939, in Watseka, IL, a daughter of William John and Hulda Windhorn Rabe. She married Jack Graham on February 1, 1964 in Watseka and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Julie (Tom) Metschuleit of Bourbonnais and Jodie (Alsion) Neal of Crescent City; two sisters, Barbara (Weldon) Bohlmann and Sandra Rabe all of Watseka; three brothers, Roger (Mary Kay) Rabe of Crescent City, Dennis (Nancy) Rabe of Kankakee and Stuart (Neva) Rabe of Cissna Park; one aunt, Martha Esther Rabe of Danforth; five grandchildren, Logan & Mara Metschuleit, Colton Sample and Preston & Payton Neal; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Rabe.
Mrs. Graham was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. She enjoyed watching and playing sports of all kinds, cards, picnics and going to the Iroquois County Fair. She was a CNA at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth for 25 years and also had worked at Louis Melinds Rubber Stamp Factory in Onarga and at the State Hospital in Kankakee.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. The Rev. Donald Love will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Prairieview Lutheran Home, Iroquois Memorial Hospice, Calvary Lutheran Church or Donor’s Choice.
