Audrey J. Gull, 85, Chebanse, IL

Audrey J. Gull, 85, of Chebanse, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL.

Visitation will run from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26.

Mrs. Gull was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Kankakee, IL, a daughter of William and Marguerite Mihm Wolfe. She first married Donald Blanchette. She later married Howard Robert Gull on May 6, 1978 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1997.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Hubert of St. Anne, IL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Beth Blanchette of Kankakee, IL and Randy and Faith Blanchette of St. Anne, IL; one sister, Bonnie Winterroth of Chebanse, IL; one brother, Tom Wolfe of Chebanse, IL; nine grandchildren, Dana Dickson, Mary Grant, Emily Deihl, Anna Ballard, Susan Blanchette, Paul Blanchette, John Blanchette, Abby Blanchette and Alex Blanchette; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Virgil Wolfe and Shirley Wolfe; two sisters, Phyllis Bishop and Arvilla Curio; and one granddaughter, Amy Provost.

Mrs. Gull did clerical work in the Repair Parts Dept. at Roper. She loved crafts, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
