Wendell H. Taden, 84, of Watseka, IL passed away on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewanee, IL

Visitation will run for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Rev. Joe Dapelo will officiate. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Crescent City, IL.

Mr. Taden was born July 31, 1925 in Crescent Twp. in Iroquois County, IL, a son of Johann and Helena Gocken Taden.

Survivors of Mr. Taden include one brother, Harold Taden, of Watseka and one sister, Marie Fawbush, also of Watseka.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

Mr. Taden was a truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
