Grady R. Bell Sr., 79, Hoopeston, IL

Grady R. Bell Sr., 79 of Hoopeston, IL passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at Hoopeston Community Memorial Hospital in Hoopeston, IL.

Visitation will run from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Ronald Childress will officiate. Interment will be at Amity Cemetery in Goodwine, IL.

Mr. Bell was born May 29, 1930 in Dyersburg, TN, a son of Rudolph and Nina Doyle Bell.

Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela Bell of Watseka, April and Scott Frye of Goodwine and Marie Bell of Joliet, IL; five sons, Danny Archer and Grady Bell Jr. of Watseka, Gerald Wayne Bell of Tennessee, Terry Bell of Kentland, IN and James Bell of Plainfield, IL; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Mr. Bell served in the U.S. Army. He was owner and operator of Dollar Saver Plumbing & Drainage for many years.
