Rita E. Raymond, 86, of Watseka, IL

Rita E. Raymond died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Gilman Health Care Center in Gilman, IL.

Visitation for Mrs. Raymond will run for one hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. service on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka, IL. David Field will officiate. Burial will be in Iroquois Memorial Park Cemetery in Watseka, IL.

Mrs. Raymond was born May 19, 1923 in McEwen, TN, a daughter of Allen and Esther Spring Clawson. She married Earl Raymond on October 24, 1945 in Joliet, IL. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1965.

Survivors of Mrs. Raymond include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Trula Raymond of Watseka; one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and James Thomas of Sarasota, FL; one sister, Elouise Gray of Watseka; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Norma Clawson of Watseka; one grandson and his wife, Nathan and Jill Raymond of Arcola, IL; one granddaughter and her husband, Kelly and Dustin Jurceka of Norcross, GA; one great-grandchild, Keira Jurceka; and serveral nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Raymond was a Jehovah Witness.
