Marie Antoinette Kroll, 82, of Bradley, IL

Marie Antoinette Kroll, 82, of Bradley, IL died Friday, July 31, 2009 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Cremation rites were accorded. Pastor Rod Serbus will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

Marie Kroll was born August 8, 1926 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Willam Paul and Marie Amelia Richter Kemp.

Survivors of Marie Kroll include three sons, Richard and Thomas Kroll of Chebanse, IL and Dan Kroll of Bourbonais, IL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Charley Wirtz of Bradley, IL and Angela and Martin O’Connor of Clifton, IL; five brothers, LeRoy and William Kemp of Kankakee, IL, Harold Kemp of Bourbonnais, IL, Gerold Kemp of Florida and Donald Kemp of Hudson, NC; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Kemp; and one son, Michael Kroll.

Mrs. Kroll was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Chebanse, IL. She enjoyed watching the Cubs and local stock car racing.
